A word about the banner

The banner pic just seems to illustrate what I’m trying to do here. Capture the beautiful things, pin them down, identify them, save them. I want to be able to remember so many things. To remind myself what it is about my life that makes it good. I want to be able to go back and look at the beautiful things I’ve encountered along the way. And keep them forever.

Took this picture at the zoo. It’s been in the same display, unchanged, my entire life. I love that.
