Sophia. Today she gets out a shopping cart and starts pushing it around Grandma’s kitchen. On the new wood floors that Grandma is desperate to keep beautiful. Doing the thing Grandma has specifically asked that she doesn’t do, because it will scratch the floor. So I tell her not to push the cart on the wood floor, because it will make scratches. Her reply:
"But Mom…that’s what kids do."
3-year old logic should not include peer pressure. I’ll get enough of that when she hits her teens.

So funny, Shannon!! Hope you’re having a wonderful (and relatively scratch-free) time!

Um… sorry ’bout that. Sounds like she’s been getting lessons from Meisi, my 5 year old. This is exactly something she would say.
Hey when are coming back to San Jose?
LOL- too funny- yep 3 year olds are gems aren’t they? Mack told me the other day when I told her to stop doing something she shouldn’t “It’s OK MOM, I’m just doing it. I like doing stuff”
Ohh Shannon she is bright little thing!! How cute is that>?
