At Dave’s request…

Sweetskills_1  Dave wanted me to put this up here. I don’t know why I’m letting him tell me what to do. :) But these pictures crack us up. Not the coolest page I’ve ever done, certainly nothing fancy, but look at that kid. He really does know how to work a bow-staff. :) If you’ve seen Napoleon Dynamite, you might recognize the quote. If not, this page must seem extremely lame. I tried to make the handwriting as Napoleon as possible.

So I’ve been busy filling up my ipod. Scratch that. DAVE has been busy collecting music for our ipods.

My assignment to you…and I know there are more than four of you reading this…LEAVE A COMMENT. Tell me what your favorite album or song of all time is. Please. :) I’d love some new stuff but I don’t even know where to begin! Please, please, please, pretty please?

I am so NOT a cool person, so if you’re looking for cool songs, move on to comment #2. :-) But, I do like the song “Blessed” by Martina McBride.

Love the pictures of your little man honing his warrior skills - so cute!

All time favorite song is “Every Breath You Take” by the Police. Favorite album would have to be “The Rising” by Bruce Springsteen. I love all of his stuff (well, maybe not Devils and Dust) but there isn’t a bad song on the Rising.

it’s hard to get me to shut up once i get started on music… no lie, we have nearly 12,000 songs in iTunes on the computer. that translates into a ginormous cd collection that would explain our lack of fortune in our 30s, tee hee.

but. i would say… check out sarah harmer, the black keys, big head todd and the monsters, blues traveler, elliott smith, the soundtrack to rushmore, oh, i could go on…

how did you photo shoots go? : )

I’ll say “ditto” to Joss Stone, Anna Nalick, John Mayer, and Maroon 5 that have all been mentioned here. I’m also liking Dave Matthew’s new album. And a little retro Hootie & the Blowfish.

I love Switchfoot–so much so that I am going to see them in concert tonight with my sister! Haven’t been to a concert in 8 years so it should be interesting. They sing “Dare you to Move,” “Meant to Live,” “(When I look at the) Stars.” Their album called “Beautiful Letdown” doesn’t have a bad song on it. I also love others (some already mentioned) like Joss Stone, Jack Johnson, DM Band, Rascal Flatts, Shawn Colvin, Indigo
Girls, James Taylor, Dixie Chicks, and some great local artists like Ryan Shupe, Cherie Call, Eclipse. Happy listening!

Love the quote and photos (and the movie). Someone already mentioned Switchfoot, they just had a new album come out, very sweet. Also superchic[k] - their last album rocks - From Beauty to Pain. And one of their older songs Barlow Girls is a fav. As will as Sarah Brendal. Can’t think of the title of her album right off hand.

I’m so glad you got an iPod-you have many great stress-relieving runs ahead. :)
