Great reading.

I’m practically on the cast of the Biggest Loser. Today at the gym, I saw one of the guys…Mark from the show. It’s funny seeing people from TV in real life, because for a second you think you really know each other somehow before it dawns on you how you know them. Of course I didn’t say anything. Just laughed to myself and kept working out. Funny thing is, as I watched the show yesterday, I thought about how he reminded me of a boy I had a crush on in Jr. High. And then, last night I had a dream about the kid (Nothing bad, BTW!! and no…I’m not saying his name. You never know who is related to who and who will tell said kid that I’m dreaming about him 15 years later! ha!) Anyway, weird coincidence. AND to top it off, one of my friends’ best friends is another contestant from the show, Seth. They go watch it with him, get all the behind-the-scenes commentary. Yeah, so I’m practically PART of the show, with all those connections. :) Plus, I watch it every week. What more do you need? (this is great reading, people. Bet you’re glad you checked in with me today.)

Doing laundry today. I actually like it. I love tossing in something that smells like pee and then after the whole process it’s warm and beautiful and sweet-smelling. Plus, I get to sit in front of the TV and watch a Tivo’d Oprah. Nice. Fun.

So I did the photo shoot at the beach last Saturday. Three families back to back. Made for a long morning. But lots of fun. My left eye cramped up and wouldn’t close for my pictures. :) It’s taken me several days to actually go through the pictures. For one, I took a TOOOON. But the big reason, I think, is I’m afraid. Really afraid I really screwed up and got nothing good. I wasn’t nervous to go shoot. I wasn’t nervous while I was shooting. But got nervous when it was all done, because there’s no going back. I did a few things wrong, made a few stupid mistakes, but I’m pretty sure the families will be happy with what I got. Forgot to ask them if I could post them, so I won’t.

Today one of the ladies stopped by and asked if I’d seen the pics. I lied and told her yes. And she asked if there were any good ones and I lied again and told her they’re great. :) Well, not really lied, they might be great. But I don’t know because I’m afraid to take a close look. But I might as well get her all psyched up for them. Because thanks to photoshop, most of them will be pretty good. :) (I hope.) I’m working through the first family’s pics now, and I have some stuff I can work with. Relief.

    I”m sure you did fabulous!! I know what you mean about eye cramps. Mine did that this spring when I had two back to back. Didnt help that it was the one windy day in Houston in April, either! :P

    Okay - that is freaky that you have so many connections to the Biggest Loser. I can’t beliveyou are watching that show either - that is just one I didn’t think you would.

    Didn’t know you were doing photo shoots now! When did this happen? Why didn’t you tell me? I wanna see them - waaaah! I bet their completely awesome :D

    I know a girl that knows Seth too, he’s from Salinas and I live in Monterey. I wonder if I can say I know him too…just by association with those who also know him:) you know… six degrees of seperation:D
