Today, as I speak…uh…type…Franklin is watching TV. I know. Many people might be horrified at the thought of me plopping a 19 month old in front of the TV. But it’s a big deal for me. He’s watching a show with Sophie. He never had the attention span for that before. He found his time was better spent making messes and getting into things. But today, for a blissful 1/2 hour, he sat on the couch, covered in a blanket, with a toy in his hand for an entire 1/2 hour. And I totally wasted it playing solitaire. So.tired.today. Too many days of accomplishing things on a horrendous to-do list (with still more to do). So it was nice to just sit a spell. Horray to Franklin for adopting a couch-potato attitude for a while right when I really needed it.
