T’was the night before Christmas

and all through the house, not a creature was stirring except for the RAT.

Talk. about. nasty.

We got home last night after being out of town for almost two weeks. (We had a LOVELY visit, by the way…) And discovered that a rat had made itself at home here while we were gone. (Making me want to do something really awful to Peanut Man down the street that is promoting the growth of their population by buying cartfuls of peanuts and giving them to all the rodents…)

Rat poop all over in the office and in the boys’ room. I could die. I want to burn the house down. It is so disgusting. I’ve cleaned it up. Disinfected as well as I could. Wanted to die the whole time I was doing it. And the nasty beast still exists, I believe. Hasn’t been trapped yet. Please, please, please nasty animal, just step on the trap and make this easier for all of us. Please.

Happy New Year.
