And the rains came tumbling down…

Lovely lovely spring weather. Rain. I think I cursed myself a while back talking about how much I like the rain. Poor kids, stuck inside all day on their break. Today we decided to head to McDonalds with an indoor playland to let them run around, and when we got there, the place had closed shop. Shelby cried like someone had murdered her favorite pet. I was pretty surprised at how the loss of the only indoor playland we know of affected her. Drama. And rain. Those two words pretty much can sum up spring break so far… :)

The Carls Jr. on LG Blvd. is pretty good…that’s our usual rainy day lunch place.

And I was very bummed about that McD’s…we’ve had 2 birthday parties there! :(

Poor Maddie is in for it when we move… she doesn’t fully grasp the concept of an umbrella out here in Drought Central. : )

I was wondering how long it would take before the rain got to you. :) Too funny about Shelby.

Aw man the McDonald’s playland is CLOSED!! We had so many memories there. I think we both had one of our kids stuck in there. It was a great place to have grownup chat while we kept an eye on the kids. We’ll have to scope out another one.
