Funny how many song lyrics I can think of that have "rain" in them.
And pathetic how this blog has turned into a weatherlog.
But, yeah. It’s raining again. I still love the rain, interestingly enough. At least I got that one nice day in yesterday. ONE beautiful spring-break day where the kids could actually play outside.
This morning we cleaned out toys. Organized. It would’ve been a pretty annoying and depressing task had there been sunshine beckoning us, but as it was, there was nothing else to do so we might as well clean. I’m not done. I could probably clean and organize all day every day and it still wouldn’t be done. Maybe that’s why it’s not done…because I don’t even believe it CAN be done. Either way, I should at least try. So…off I go.

YEAH for organization, and no — you’ll never be done. By the time you finish you have to go back to the stuff you started with. {sigh}.

When I was 7 we moved to So CA from AL. My mom remembers us asking when it was going to rain? I guess we missed it. We loved playing in the rain, even if it put lil sis and I in the hospital once with pneumonia.

It’s freakin’ snowing here again this morning! It was beautiful yesterday, windy..but warm and sunny. This morning I go to the gym and come out to a blizzard! I’m so ready for the sunshine to stick around for more than a day or two.
I went through the name every rain song with the kids - there’s it’s raining its pouring, rain rain go away, itsey bitsy spider etc. Will it ever stop??
