Not about the school starting, but about being ready. Took them to school a couple hours ago, and am now finding myself pretty bummed. I’m tempted to do nothing and spend my time wandering aimlessly around the internet. I’m supposed to run for 45 minutes today and can’t even make myself change my clothes. I’m going to do it, because I’ll be disappointed in myself if I don’t, but I just thought I’d first mention that I’m surprisingly bummed on this first day of school. I’ll be ok…I thought it would at least take a couple days before I started missing them, though!

Haha…
you’ll be FINE by tomorrow.
I felt that same way last night.
that’s how it goes.
i thought i was ready.
i wasn’t.
but it’s been a couple of weeks now and i have adjusted.
call me if you get too bored.
i’ll entertain you.
i cried the moment i got into the car after dropping my daughter off last monday for her first day of pre-k!!! don’t feel like you can’t miss them!
I just had to say that I got my October CK yesterday, and when I came across your layout, I laughed out loud. I had to read it to my husband, who laughed too.
I, too, was a clogger, and while I loved it, I’ve always wondered why I didn’t take “normal” dance, and would hesitate when people asked me what kind of dance. Even now, a good trade-off for a friend’s embarassing talent is to show them my clogging and then I get to see their hidden talent.
So your layout struck a chord with me, and I just had to see if you had a blog, and thought I’d comment. Love your pics, by the way - awesome!
awww, I’m sorry Shannon! Maybe with your training, you’ll start to enjoy the “free time” you have to concentrate on that and then you’ll be extra ready to play when the kids get home. =) thinking of you.
I know I miss my guys too but you have two more at home right? It’ll really hit you when they are in school too!
