I’m not dying. The muscles are fine now. I should stop posting about whenever I don’t feel well, because it tends to freak my mom out.
Matthew’s home sick from school today. Has a fever. But he’s not dying either. The Motrin knocked the fever out, but I think I’ll just let him relax at home today anyway. So in his honor, a random photo. From June 2005. Giving his serious look that he is so good at.

bad and really bad
Bad: When your muscles hurt.
If you’ve worked out to get sore muscles, it is a delicious kind of pain. Because with every painful step or movement, there is some satisfaction of a job well done and knowledge that your body is transforming into some sort of fabulous alternative to what it is now. The pain is a constant reminder of how awesome you are for going to the gym in the first place.
Really bad: When your muscles hurt and you have no idea what kind of strenuous activity could’ve caused such unrelenting pain in your muscles.
Seriously. Have I gotten so weak that the mere act of living has become too much for my puny muscles? I feel like did 1000 squats. But I didn’t do anything I can recall. Unless it’s the Oreos again. Maybe it was the act of getting off the couch to retrieve some Oreos and a glass of milk that did this to me. Must be.
Oh. One more thing. Random picture. Remember this goofy kid?

February 11, 2007 - 1:04 pm - Yeah the achiness is really annoying. I have been hobbling around with a bad back, knees etc. I think it is sitting on the couch too much. Oh and the barely keeping your eyes open thinking it is 11:00pm and it is only 9:00pm is annoying as well - whew I am a party animal!

Meet Piper!
Piper. Our new furry baby. She is SO fun. Already a champ at doing sits and down. So far today, a champ at doing her "business" outside.
Yesterday within five minutes of getting her into the car, she pooped in her crate. Welcome to puppy parenthood, huh? It was a pretty short honeymoon! But she’s been awesome. She slept through the night. Barely even whines in her crate, and when she does, it’s just a polite little "I’m lonely in here."
I hope I’m not jinxing myself with all this talk about how great she is! 
Congrats to Kayli who won my little contest. I loved her suggestion of Rumplestiltskin, but we ended up going with Piper, which she guessed. I loved reading everyone’s guesses!

trying to do better
I was going to talk about CHA today. But I’ll save that. Because I sent Dave on Shelby’s field trip with my camera. I hope the card wasn’t full, I didn’t even check! And don’t you think it is so awesome that Dave took a day off to go on the field trip? I do.
In efforts to be a more consistent blogger, I’m going to post anyway. And not about puppies either. Today…babies. I’ve done several baby shoots in the last few weeks. Here are some favies. (I hope they look ok…I got a new screen, so I’m having a hard time with the calibration.)
Dude. Triplets.
I had visions of them snuggled together in their birthday suits. But I quickly learned that if they don’t want it, I don’t get it. They were a dream. All wonderful. It’s just that there were THREE! Definitely a challenge. But I came home and told Dave we need to have three more babies. All at once. So cool.
