taking some fun pictures! 
I’ve been having so much fun with photography lately. 
So many fun people to meet, babies to make a fool of myself in front of… I love it. Last year I kind of struggled with the overwhelmingness of trying to combine being a creative person and a business person, but I feel like I’m finally "getting it." It feels so good. I’m going to try to share more regularly… these pictures were from a couple months ago, and I have lots more to share. This will be catch-up week. I’ll share every day this week. That’s my goal.
I’m feeling so lucky lately to be able to do this, to have people to trust me to capture their families and who are willing to go along with my crazy ideas.
It’s such a dream come true… a dream that I would not have dared to dream a few years ago. Photography always intimidated me, it seemed so difficult and technical. And owning a business? A photography business? I would’ve thought it was awesome, I would’ve been so in awe of someone else, but never imagined it was something *I* could do. And look at me now. I’m giddy with excitement and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me and encouraged me along the way. You have no idea what it has meant…
(eta: sorry to those of you on bloglines or whatever for updating this site a million times… I was having a hard time getting the pictures to look right and ended up taking a bunch off…)

Love the pics, you are very good at what you do. Even if you don’t feel like you “get it,” we (as your viewers) are pretty sure you do! How do you get your business decal on your pictures? And where do you get your great ideas for the pics?
And about the crocs… I totally thought they were wimpy, at first, then got some for my baby (for mere convienence) then got some for my other two kids (out of pure laziness) and then tried on my sister’s (out of simple curiosity) and now I am hooked! Wimpy or not they really are comfortable!
