So, the blog has been neglected again. Fact is, the days seem to run together and I don’t feel like I have a lot to say right now. I am kind of enjoying feeling like I’m in a little cocoon, sheltered from the world with my kids and my books. Only my kids are playing outside most of the time, so it’s a nice, quiet cocoon. I love summer. I know it’s just a matter of time before that cocoon feels like a straight jacket, so I’ll just enjoy it while I can.
I’m leaving tomorrow for my ultra-fun 12 hour drive to Utah. It should be awesome. Robbers and thieves beware, Dave is still home and he sleeps with a bb-gun under the bed. If that doesn’t scare you, I don’t know what will. So, even though I’m gone, my house will be safe and protected. As will my husband.
I have one opening left for a Utah session, if anyone wants it. I’ll be checking email while I’m gone, so drop me a line if you’re interested.
Finally, because it just seems wrong to leave without posting a picture, here are some favorites from a recent session.

I must sincerely apologize to the Sierra for kicking her ball over the fence. It was an accident, but I’m sure it ruined her day.
I call this last one "Holding Hands with God."

I so wish I could take that last Utah session, but alas, I live too far south and am too poor.
I would love it, however, if you would check out my blog for today…you’ve been given an award.
Awh… that is a sweet picture you’re fancy.
HAVE A FUN TRIP!!!!
I absolutely ADORE the picture with the little guy, the hose and the DOG!! It’s GORGEOUS!!!!!
Love that last one, especially, and the title is perfection.
