I know I say this every time, but I love these guys! I think it might be impossible to not love someone I photograph. Somehow, looking through the viewfinder at them makes me love them. But these guys made it easy! I love the way they interact. I think you can get a feel of that from these images.

Finger kiss!
I love these both… so I’ll show them both…

Making whistles out of grass…

yum yummy flare…
And I think this might be my favorite shot of the day… the simple contrast of their footwear…
If you’d like to see the slideshow, you can do so here.
Fun stuff… I can’t wait for the wedding! It’s going to be so wonderful and unique and I loved listening to Katie tell me what they’re planning! Looking forward seeing it all…

This baby looks delicious and nutritious. It’s all I could do not to take a little nibble of her sweetness.

I guess I’ll let these guys nibble her instead…
She’ll probably get smooches from her “brother” too…

Just for kicks… her dad is a DJ, and we took this shot with the headphones…

Have you ever seen such beautiful kids? Seriously!
This picture also has her little lovey: old bunny.

Check out that red hair! Love it.

This shot cracks me up. I guess she smiled before she started screaming, all the other images in this series were frowny.

The next couple are perfect mommy moments…

The necklace in this shot… it was her special gift when she had this baby… cool, huh?

Bubbles!!
This baby is three months old. And she uses a potty. Can you believe it? This is one *smart* baby. (and mommy.)

Tonight I made the family’s favorite dinner: The annual “Don’t Be a Fool” dinner. It’s just a regular dinner, but with a menu. I make up words for all the items, then people have to choose their items from each category in the menu. So, for example, while I made a pasta dish for dinner, some people unknowingly chose “triangulo” and got leftover pizza or “cowabino” and got cold cereal. Franklin was delighted with his dinner: cold cereal, salad, and chips. Fun stuff. Each year, there is dog food on the menu somewhere, but this year, nobody chose it. I love it because it’s really not more work than a regular meal (except for printing up the silly menu), and I get major props for being a super fun mom. I’m hoping they remember this when they grow up and think it was like this all the time. Maybe they’ll forget every way in which I’m failing and only remember awesome April Fools dinners. One can wish, right?
Speaking of fools…

My new favorite shot of Matthew. Even though it’s kind of old, from Halloween. He was a nerd. This is his nerd face. I found it when I was looking through my folders before the open house. It had been overlooked, but I found it and made it black and white and fell in love. I found a bunch of gems, I’ll be posting them now and then.
