My Baby Girl

She’s been gone to girl’s camp this week. I’m sure she had the time of her life. Our house hasn’t been the same without her! I’m excited to see her later today and hear all of her stories. I’ll probably hear each story several times, because this girl can talk. I love that she has the opportunity to have such a great time with great friends this summer.

These pics are actually from last fall… they crack me up. She’d been looking at a fashion magazine and laughing at the awkward poses of the models. She grabbed a yoga mat, her big plastic belt (you know, the kind that come free with the jeans but isn’t quality at all) and a pair of my shoes (it kills me that they fit her now… how can she be almost my size already?) and asked me to take pictures of her in her fancy high-fashion ensemble. One result from our 5-minute photoshoot:

Love this girl. Gosh, she’s beautiful. But more importantly, she’s just a really wonderful, delightful person. Lucky me.

Kaija - I love this “satirical” wonderful ensemble — I think I’m going to make a yoga mat dress for myself!!!

Stefani Meyer - baby? I don’t see a baby anywhere.
We leave for camp tomorrow…. Camp Ritchie is 2nd to none! I can’t believe she is old enough to go.

Heather - I can’t believe that she is fitting into your shoes! It seems like just yesterday when she had just learned how to roll over and we were trying to keep her our of the pizza we were eating while sitting on your floor in your apt. Love the pictures and miss you guys.
